Overview

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for using KILILAND ADVENTURES services. By accessing our services, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before booking any tour with us.

Our Terms and Conditions

Booking Contract

  • A booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Kililand Adventures.
  • The contract applies only to the services stated in your booking confirmation.

Payments and Refunds

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total price is required to secure your booking.
  • The balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the start of the trip.
  • If payment is not received by the due date, the company reserves the right to cancel your booking.
  • Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 14 days of cancellation.

Activities and Cancellation by the Client

  • More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit.
  • 30 to 59 days before departure: 50% of total price.
  • 15 to 29 days before departure: 75% of total price.
  • Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of total price.

If you cancel your booking, the following charges apply and Cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by the company.

Cancellation or Changes by the Company

The company reserves the right to cancel or amend a booking due to reasons beyond its control, including safety, weather conditions, or decisions by suppliers, partners, or operators. In the event of cancellation by the company, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.

Alcohol and Drugs

The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. Excessive alcohol consumption that risks your safety or disrupts others may result in removal from the trip without refund.

Insurance

You are required to have valid travel and medical insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, and evacuation. Proof of insurance may be requested before departure. The company accepts no responsibility for losses arising from failure to obtain proper insurance.

Insurance Cancellation

If your insurance provider cancels or limits your cover, you are responsible for arranging alternative insurance. The company does not provide compensation for claims denied by insurers.

Shortcomings, Modifications, and Errors

The company makes every effort to provide accurate information. Errors or omissions in brochures, websites, or communications will be corrected as soon as identified. If a service cannot be provided as confirmed, the company may offer a suitable alternative of equal or higher value.

The company is not liable for circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.

Other General Terms

You are responsible for complying with visa, health, and passport requirements. The company reserves the right to refuse service to clients who fail to meet these obligations. This agreement is governed by neutral principles of international contract law, without restriction to a specific jurisdiction.

Privacy

Kililand Adventures collects only the personal information necessary to process your booking, including your name, contact details, and travel arrangements.

This information is stored securely and is not shared with third parties except as required to fulfill your booking. Your email and booking details will never be sold or used for unrelated marketing.

Questions and Complaints

If you have questions or complaints regarding your booking, contact the company immediately at info@kililandadventures.com.

Complaints must be raised during the trip where possible to allow the company to resolve the matter promptly.

Preventing Sexual Exploitation

We are deeply committed to fostering responsible tourism and preventing exploitation at Kililand Adventures. As a proud partner of Travelife, we strive to raise awareness about all forms of exploitation and harassment, including commercial and sexual exploitation, particularly of children and adolescents.

Sexual exploitation is a global issue that often goes unnoticed, and combating it requires collective action. We encourage all our travelers to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior or incidents of child sexual exploitation directly to Kililand Adventures. Your awareness and actions can make a significant difference. Together, we can create safer and more ethical travel experiences.

Forbidden And Illegal Souvenirs

At Kililand Adventures, we strictly prohibit purchasing, selling, or transporting forbidden souvenirs. These include trophies made from ivory, rhinoceros horns, hippopotamus teeth, animal tusks, horns, feathers, or skins of any game animal. Additionally, manufactured trophies—items made from any part of these animals, such as teeth, tusks, horns, bones, claws, hooves, hair, feathers, eggs, or other durable materials are also forbidden.

We also prohibit the purchase, sale, or transportation of souvenirs involving threatened flora and fauna species, historic or archaeological artifacts that have been illegally removed, or any prohibited substances (e.g., drugs and alcohol), regardless of their legal status in the destination or the traveler’s home country. We aim to promote responsible and ethical tourism practices by adhering to these guidelines.

Animal Interactions

At Kililand Adventures, we are devoted to promoting ethical and responsible travel practices. We firmly oppose any interactions between humans and wild animals and any facilities that endorse or encourage such activities. As a proud partner of Travelife, we exclude unsustainable destinations from our itineraries to uphold our commitment to responsible tourism.
